Job Description :

To assist teachers in planning, trying out and conducting science experiments and relevant demonstrations, as well as other science-related activities
To prepare, update and manage science-related materials and resources
To assist teachers in assessing students’ performance in science-related activities, including the smooth implementation of school-based assessments
To prepare, construct, operate and maintain laboratory apparatus and equipment, and to conduct routine laboratory tests
To purchase laboratory apparatus, equipment and other items necessary for Laboratories
To be responsible for the maintenance of science-related facilities.
To be responsible for all the normal safeguards in laboratories.
To provide support and advice on the promotion and monitoring of laboratory safety

Qualification Required :

Degree in Science, major in Physics preferred
Working experience in secondary schools is an asset
Experience in the preparation of general science experiments is an advantage
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Laboratory Technician III.
