More than 3,400 tonnes of food waste is sent to landfills in Hong Kong every day, while more than one million people live in poverty struggling to afford nutritious meals. Feeding Hong Kong is on a mission to change that. We organized a volunteer activity at Feeding Hong Kong on 12th Aug, where they learned about and experienced the operation of a food bank together with 13 alumni.
