As many underprivileged families and those living in subdivided flats face severe housing constraints and a lack of resources, many young children lack sufficient space to play and access to diverse educational toys, which limits their daily exploration and development. In view of this, the HKU SPACE Volunteer partnered with Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service Mongkok Integrated Family Service Centre on 3 Oct to support the center’s 'Toy Library' project. Volunteers proactively and patiently serve as 'Play Partners' and 'On-site Support,' playing alongside the children and helping underprivileged toddlers regularly access high-quality play experiences and development support.
