About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Legal Secretary to provide support to legal professionals at a local law firm. Based in Admiralty, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our team of legal professionals.
What You’ll Be Doing

Managing day-to-day administrative tasks for one or more legal professionals, including diary management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination

Preparing and formatting contracts, legal documents, correspondence, and reports for contentious and non-contentious probate, matrimonial, and commercial matters

Assisting with the compilation of relevant information and documentation

Handling incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries in a professional and efficient manner

Maintaining and organising electronic and physical filing systems

Providing general administrative and secretarial support to the legal team as required

What We’re Looking For

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm or legal department

Excellent typing and proofreading skills with a high level of attention to detail

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

A keen interest in the legal industry and a desire to contribute to the success of the team
